DCCC 582, 584 & 585/2023 (Consolidated) – Acted for the Defendant relating to restraint orders and relevant proceedings relating to the third runway case.
ESCC 814/2024 – Acted for the Defendant being a personal trainer being charged with one count of indecent assault. Defendant was acquitted after trial. Both the Prosecution and the Defence called Expert witnesses.
STCC 4063/2023 – Acted for the Defendant being charged with acting as a member of a triad society and successfully reversed plea. Voluntariness of cautioned statements challenged. Defendant was acquitted after trial.
TMCC 2243/2021 – Acted for the Defendant being charged with one count of Ill-treatment or neglect by those in charge of child or young person. The Defendant was acquitted after trial.
Matrimonial
HCMP 1790/2023 – Acted for the Applicant being the natural grandmother of child X. Issues arose as father married to the natural mother is not related to X. Neither natural mother, father or the legal father named on birth certificate willing to take custody, care and control. Successfully obtained order of guardianship for the grandmother.
FCMC 8066/2021 – Acted for the Defendant and successfully appealed against master’s decision. Set aside and vacate the charging orders imposed on the Defendant’s Property.
FCMC 3405/2023 – Acted for the Petitioner for injunction order under the Domestic and Cohabitation Relationships Violence Ordinance (Cap 189)

HCMP 1508/2022 – Acted for the Applicant to lodge the Election Return out of time pursuant to s 40 of the Elections (Corrupt and Illegal Conduct) Ordinance (Cap 554). Order granted in favour of the Applicant.
HCMP 1456/2023 – Acted for the Defendant being the creditor and successfully resisted the application for interim injunction of the Plaintiff being a listed company.

Mathilda has represented HKU as an oralist in Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competitions for two consecutive years (2019 and 2020) . In Jessup 2019, she has been selected to be the oralist for the final round in the Regional Round and won against her opponent. The Jessup team in which she participated also won Best Memorials Prizes for both the Applicant and the Respondent in that year. The HKU of which she was a participant team competed in the International Round in Washington D.C. against other top law schools from around the world. Mathilda ranked the first in her PCLL class of 2019-2020 for Matrimonial Practice & Procedure.
